Become a part of the Djerassi experience, get involved in the art of our time, and help us give the gift of time to artists from all over the world by becoming a Member of the Djerassi Resident Artists Program.

Your Membership contribution will support the Program's artistic and educational programs and provide you increased access to a unique environment that fosters creativity and collegial fellowship.

Djerassi Members receive a variety of special benefits, including the Members-only Picnic, priority registration for Sculpture Tours, and free or reduced admission to Djerassi Program events.

As a Member of the Djerassi Program you will help provide the gift of time to talented artists in a stunning natural landscape where they can accelerate the creative process, nurture their inspiration and break new ground unfettered from the distractions of everyday life. The Program provides each artist – free of charge – a private studio, living quarters, all meals, local transportation and administrative support.

Now in its 30th year and recognized as one of the world’s eminent artist residency programs, the Djerassi Program has provided residencies to nearly 2,000 performing, literary, and visual artists, who have come from 42 American states and 35 foreign countries.

  • One named Fellowship in support of one artist’s residency
  • Dinner with the artists prepared by Program chef at the Artists’ House 

$10,000 and above  FOUNDER’S CIRCLE ($9,200 is tax-deductible)

All benefits of Fellowship Circle PLUS:

  • One additional named Fellowship in support of a total of 2 artists’ residencies
  • Private Director’s Tour for up to 8 guests with lunch
  • Use of Ranch property for one private event (restrictions apply)                                     

ALUMNI CIRCLE

All artist alumni are lifetime members of the Artists’ Circle and receive:  

  • Discounted fee (50%) for Inspiration and Virtuoso Membership levels
  • Eligible to attend Winter Residency
  • Year-round access to the ranch property (with advance notice to Program)
  • Complimentary admission to Open House/Open Studios
