The mission of the Djerassi Resident Artists Program is to support and enhance the creativity of artists by providing uninterrupted time for work, reflection, and collegial interaction in a setting of great natural beauty, and to preserve the land on which the Program is situated.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 2009-2010 Winter Artists-in-Residence

Winter residencies are extended to alumni of the Djerassi Program as a means to maintain an association with our artists and to support them with additional opportunities to concentrate on their creative projects. Alumni artists working in the disciplines of visual arts, media arts, choreography, music composition and literature are encouraged to apply for a winter residency. Applications from alumni who wish to collaborate with non-alumni artists are also welcome. The artists listed below will be in residence at our SMIP Ranch facilities during two separate periods: November 30 – December 18, 2009 and January 4 –February 19, 2010.
